Smartair's maintenance division is committed to providing the highest levels of service excellence and quality artistry, to make sure that any aircraft we work on, whether it's yours or ours, performs efficiently and reliably at all times. From scheduled maintenance on a piston engine to emergency repairs on a twin-engine turboprop, we'll get you back in the air in a time and cost-efficient manner.
We offer you the engineering expertise necessary for a broad range of general aviation aircraft including Secota, Partenavia, Cessna, Piper, Fletcher and the Beechcraft Super King Air. We have non-destructive testing approval from CASA and are continually updating our skill levels in all areas of operation, even travelling to the US to participate in manufacturers' factory courses such as Piper, Cleveland and Pratt & Whitney. Smartair is proudly one of two Authorised Mooney Service Centres in Australia. With their only being 35 world-wide. We strive to provide
each Mooney owner with exceptional service that exceeds expectations by incorporating the latest and most efficient techniques and
technologies, giving you face time with the people who know your airplane best. Mooney tooling is stored at Smartair’s facilities in
Albury and can be hired for for only the cost of return freight and a small handling fee by Smartair. See

General Maintenance
This involves the performance of tasks required to ensure the airworthiness of an aircraft or aircraft part. This includes overhaul, inspection, replacement, defect rectification and modifications.
Special Modifications
Our highly qualified team is capable of performing aerodynamic, structural, electrical, hydraulic design and analysis—all mechanical and electrical part fabrications.
Component Overhaul
The airframe, propeller, appliance or component that has undergone the following: disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired when necessary and reassembled to the extent possible.
Engine Overhaul
The aircraft engine that has undergone the following: disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired when necessary and reassembled to the extent possible.
